Workshop Overview:
In this engaging 3 hour workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of photography, how to use your DSLR or film camera, and discover what makes your style unique as a photographer. Whether you're just starting or looking to refine your skills, this workshop will guide you through both technical and creative aspects of photography. You’ll also get hands-on experience and explore how to stay inspired on your photography journey.
What’s Included:
Camera Basics: Learn how to use your DSLR or film camera (don’t worry if you don’t own a camera—you’ll leave with worksheets with all info).
Photography Techniques: Understand the key elements of photography, and how to capture beautiful, compelling images.
Discover Your Style: We’ll explore photography books and study images you love to help you understand why you’re drawn to them. This will help uncover your personal style and vision as a photographer.
Create Your Vision Board: After discovering your photography style, you’ll have time to create a vision board—a tool to keep you inspired and focused as you continue your photography journey or even pursue a photography career.
Who Is This For?
As long as you’re 15 or above, this workshop is perfect if you’re looking to take better photos, whether you're using a DSLR or shooting with film. No prior photography experience needed!
What You’ll Learn:
How to confidently use your DSLR or film camera.
How to adjust your camera settings for optimal results.
Practical tips to develop your unique photographic style.
Discover what kind of images resonate with you and why.
Create a vision board to inspire and guide your future photography work. A laptop or iPad is required for this.

She has worked with major clients such as Warner Records, Sony Music, Live Nation, AWAL, and HANX, as well as big artists like Nieve Ella, Dasha, Jamie Webster, and The Vamps. Alanna is dedicated to documenting life’s purest moments and inspiring others to see the world through a creative lens.
